2025 AP Mock Exam Registration (Mass Insight)

As part of Mass Insight Education’s (MIE) Advanced Placement® STEM & English Program and/or Sustaining Partnership Program, MIE supports the administration of AP® Mock Exams for participating program schools. MIE has partnered with Applied Practice to provide Mock Exam registration, delivery, scoring, and reporting for the 2024-2025 school year.

Students will take their Mock Exams either Fully Digital or Hybrid Digital using the nGaugeTM Testing Platform developed by Applied Practice.

Students view and complete the multiple-choice and free-response sections of the exam in the nGaugeTM Testing Platform, with all responses electronically submitted for scoring at the end of the exam.
The following subjects use the Fully Digital format:

  • AP English Language
  • AP English Literature
  • AP Computer Science A
  • AP Computer Science Principles
  • AP Environmental Science

Note: No exam materials will be shipped for Fully Digital Mock Exams since both sections of the exam are completed in the nGaugeTM Testing Platform

Students view and complete multiple-choice questions and view free-response questions in the nGaugeTM Testing Platform. Students will handwrite their free-response answers in paper exam booklets that are provided by Applied Practice.
Teachers will then scan the student responses and upload them to a secure server for processing and scoring.
The following subjects use the Hybrid Digital format:

  • AP Precalculus
  • AP Calculus AB
  • AP Calculus BC
  • AP Statistics
  • AP Biology
  • AP Chemistry
  • AP Physics 1
  • AP Physics 2
  • AP Physics C: Mechanics
  • AP Physics C: E&M

Note: Free Response Student Answer Packets will be shipped directly to each school for the number of students registered for the Mock Exam.

We understand course enrollments often fluctuate; therefore, each teacher will receive 3 additional student passcodes (and sets of answer packets for Hybrid exams) over the number submitted during registration.
