All Applied Practice resources are now delivered as “digital downloads” directly to the customer’s account once the payment is verified. A link for each resource purchased will appear in the customer’s Applied Practice account for 12 months from the date of purchase. It is the responsibility of the customer to save the file within the 12-month window.
Placing an Order:
Orders can be placed in our online store by selecting the items for purchase and completing the checkout process. Payment can be made using either a credit card or a school purchase order. For customers using a credit card payment, once the order is complete a link to download the resources purchased will appear, which will also be available in your Applied Practice account. Simply click the link and download the resources to your computer.
Purchases can be made online using a school purchase order, however the order will be put on hold until Applied Practice receives the P.O. from the school. P.O.s can be emailed to email@example.com. As soon as the P.O. is received, the purchase will be processed, and the link to the resources will appear in the customer’s Applied Practice account.
Method and Terms of Payment:
Orders may be completed online by credit card. We accept Master Card, VISA, Discover, or American Express. Please remit all payments in U.S. funds.
Orders by schools/institutions using a Purchase Order will be processed upon receipt of a school purchase order. Purchase Order numbers are required. Invoices are due within 30 day of the invoice date. Accounts with past due balances will not be processed until all back payments are received.
Applied Practice does not offer refunds or exchanges on reproducible materials. All sales are final. Customers receive the link to download the resources immediately upon verification of payment thus we cannot issue refunds on any purchases.
Please note: For customers who purchase novels from Applied Practice, these are NOT digital downloads, they are provided as hard copy items. Novels are drop-shipped from their publishers and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.
Q: What is an Applied Practice digital download?
A: An Applied Practice digital download is a PDF copy of an Applied Practice classroom resource guide.
Q: What technology or software is required to access a digital download?
A: Since a digital download is a PDF copy of an Applied Practice classroom resource guide, you will need a PDF viewer to view the file. If you do not have a PDF viewer, we recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, which is a free download at: https://get.adobe.com/reader/. We advise contacting your school technology support before downloading any programs on a school computer.
Q: How long do I have to download my PDF?
A: Links to PDFs will remain in your account for 12 months. You must download and save your PDF within the 12-month window. Applied Practice will not offer replacement links for failure to download, change of schools, technical difficulties, or lost files. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to save the file within the 12-month window.
Q: My school doesn't allow us to order online. Do you have a catalog from which we can order?
A: Our home page offers downloadable order forms, as well as an electronic catalog from which you may view and print pages. If you are experiencing technical difficulties or would simply prefer to have a full catalog mailed to you, you may select Contact Form under the Contact Us menu and place a checkmark in the "Request Catalog" checkbox.
Q: Why is my PDF stamped with my name, school, and email address at the bottom of each page?
A: When purchased an Applied Practice resource guide is licensed to an individual teacher. Under Applied Practice licensing guidelines, it is not permissible for multiple teachers to share a single resource guide.
Q: I am an administrator or purchasing agent for my school. Will my name be stamped on each resource guide?
A: No. Applied Practice resources are licensed to an individual teacher. You will need to provide the name and email address of the teacher who will be using the resource.
Q: What is the difference between a digital download and the digital site license?
A: An Applied Practice digital download is a PDF copy of an Applied Practice classroom resource guide. The Applied Practice digital site license provides teachers with access to PDF copies of the entire library of 204 resource guides. To inquire about a site license for your school, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: May I share my digital download with another teacher?
A: No. It is not permissible for multiple teachers to share a single resource guide under Applied Practice licensing guidelines. Your purchase of a digital download grants a non-exclusive, limited right license to the materials. You are not authorized to sub-license or redistribute these materials.
Q: May I post my PDF on a school website?
A: No. You are permitted to download and make photocopies of materials for use with your students in a face-to-face, classroom setting only. The PDF of the resource guide is not to be posted online or made accessible through any online platform or website, school or personal.
Teachers can use practice questions from the PDF in a school learning management system (such as Blackboard or Canvas) with their classes. The material must not be posted on a site accessible by the public.
Applied Practice respectfully requests that you do not post any resources on third-party (whether for-profit or not-for-profit) lesson sharing websites.
Q: Are Applied Practice digital downloads sold to parents and students?
A: No. All Applied Practice resources are created for classroom teachers and are not sold to parents or students. Customers must still provide their school address and school email address for verification before purchasing.
