From Summary to Analysis: A Practical Strategy to Prepare Students for the AP® Language Exam

March 4 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm CST

Join us for a targeted, practical session designed to help AP Language and Composition teachers guide their students from summary to analysis on the AP Exam. By focusing on just a couple of key components of the rhetorical situation, we’ll explore simple yet effective strategies to shift students away from summary in the rhetorical analysis essay. Additionally, we’ll apply these same components to the synthesis question, helping students transform source summaries into thoughtful, synthesized commentary. Walk away with tools you can implement immediately to boost your students' analytical skills and confidence!
