Teachers! Join us for an online discussion on "Teaching Contemporary Poetry in the High School Classroom" on Tuesday, June 30th at 11:00 a.m. We will read and analyze "The Black Walnut Tree" by Mary Oliver, "Ballad of Birmingham" by Dudley Randall," and "Indian Boarding School: The Runaways" by Louise Erdrich. We will also discuss ways these poems may be incorporated and used with students. Registration is free and open to all high school English teachers!

Links to poems will be emailed to registered participants ahead of time.
